Andrew Zech

Andrew Zech is the chief operating officer of Nuveen Green Capital, a leading provider of sustainable commercial real estate finance. He leads the firm’s loan sourcing, transactions, underwriting, partnerships, and go-to-market strategy. Zech helped start Greenworks Lending in 2015 and he has led the firm’s growth into the nation’s leading C-PACE lender as the firm has closed 600+ loans ($1.5B+) across every active C-PACE market.

Prior to starting Greenworks, Zech launched new products and led sales and marketing teams at The Advisory Board Company, a health care technology and consulting firm that has since been acquired by United Healthcare. Zech specializes in scaling high growth companies. He advises several sustainability-focused startups and sits on the board of Alpen HPP, an energy-efficient window manufacturer.

Zech received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and graduate degree from Georgetown University (DC).
