Matt Ceppi is vice president for strategic development at AASCU and managing director of AASCU Consulting.
Prior to AASCU, Matt served in various leadership roles in the California State University system spanning 19 years, where he was at the forefront of several key growth initiatives, new business models, strategic partnerships, and public-private developments. Following his time at CSU, he was a consulting principal for a top 10 professional services firm and chief operating officer for a higher education technology firm. Since 2015, he has also been an instructor of leadership studies on human capital management and strategy.
Ceppi is a proud product of public higher education, having earned his Bachelor of Arts from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. He earned a Master of Arts in Education from Alliant International University and a doctorate in interdisciplinary leadership from Creighton University.
