Alicia Narvaez

Alicia Narvaez is an early childhood content and engagement specialist, leading development and implementation of innovative early learning initiatives at the intersection of education, digital media, and measurable impact. She currently leads the Early Learning Engagement team for PBS KIDS, guiding strategy for educator and community engagement together with her colleagues, PBS member stations, national partner organizations, and educators nationwide. In previous roles, she led content development for early childhood educators at PBS as part of the U.S. Department of Education’s Ready to Learn grant, directed family and community engagement for Sesame Workshop’s initiatives in formal learning, and spent 12 years in Chicago Public Schools’ Office of Early Childhood Education leading a national family engagement initiative called Virtual Pre-K. Narvaez holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University (NY) and received her Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York as a National Urban Fellow.
