Avery Spranger

Avery Spranger is a graduate teaching assistant at Illinois State University, where she has also been involved in many other political and apolitical civic engagement organizations. She also received her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University, where she was involved in the Office of Governmental Relations, Student Government, College Democrats, and other local campaigns for elected office. She is currently working on a thesis about how a non-instructional day at the university level impacts student voters. In addition, she recently started a position in the County Clerk’s office to advocate for student voters from the administrative level. While she started her undergraduate degree with hopes of attending law school, she is now planning to start a career working with university-level voter advocacy and civic engagement after graduating this December.
