Billy McCord

Billy McCord graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in industrial distribution from the College of Engineering in 1999 and has been working in the energy solutions space since that time. McCord has been with Ameresco for the last 10 years and is focused primarily on working with public universities to implement sustainable solutions that address practical business needs and have a positive environmental impact. McCord assists universities in identifying key objectives and ensuring that projects meet all technical, financial, legal, and approval guidelines. He coordinates and oversees activities between the Ameresco team, the multiple levels of university stakeholders, and any third parties involved in the development of a comprehensive solution. His recent project portfolio includes numerous transformational energy efficiency projects implemented in the last six years with multiple AASCU members, including Texas A&M University, West Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Prairie View A&M University (TX), and Tarleton State University (TX).
